ESA covers up to 95% of HICA tuition for eligible families.

If your child is entering Kindergarten or 1st grade this fall and your family meets Tennessee's ESA eligibility guidelines, the state will send tuition funds directly to HICA. You pay only $40 a month.

  • K-12 students eligible (no pre-K)

  • Application window closes May 26, 2026 at 4pm CT

  • Enrollment deadline: June 30, 2026

  • HICA handles the school-side paperwork for you
